ALRIGHT BUT PLEASE CONSIDER ADDING THESE TO YOUR LES MIS FICS:

• musichetta, éponine and cosette sharing their personal experiences with sexism and basically ruling over meetings whenever feminism or women’s rights are being discussed
• jehan writing dark, angry poetry about social injustice when something really bad comes up on the news and not feeling better until they’ve filled five pages of their notebook with words
• enjolras printing those poems, then framing and hanging them on his living room wall
• the amis asking jehan for permission to use some of their lines as chants during protests because they’re just so fucking powerful
• everyone, not just enjolras, trying to challenge grantaire’s skepticism/cynicism and change his mind
• bahorel being so emotional about something he heard on the news that he starts yelling around his flat before eventually breaking into tears, then calling R to go boxing after he’s calmed down because he needs an outlet
• enjolras knowing that it’s not right for him to be in the spotlight when issues about racism come up and being very aware of his white privilege and stepping down to let actual poc members speak up
• courfeyrac coming up with good ideas and arguments instead of whining about how long the meetings take
• everyone calmly correcting everyone else when they say problematic stuff because we’re still all unlearning institutionalized bullshit and nobody’s born knowing everything
• basically just more insight on how they deal with social (in)justice and being in an activist group??? because it’s actually pretty important?????
